NZ Ladies Rifle Team South Africa Report 4

Monday 1 April 2013

Food Shopping was done today, there isn’t any food available at the range, so some time to get everything we needed.

Finding our way around is ‘interesting’ especially as some of the streets on the Tom Tom map are called “unnamed street’.

We visited the Gen de Wit Rifle Range, the range doesn’t have a street address and we eventually found it.   People starting to arrive.

Leaving the rifle range we saw a herd of what we think were antelope or spring bok.  To me they looked like deer from behind.

Our South African handloads were seated tonight.   They are looking good.

Shooting for us starts tomorrow with our practice day 3 ranges (300, 600 & 800 metres), checking gear and getting zero.
