2022 North Island 300 metre

Posted by NRANZ Secretary

The North Island 300 m Championship and Bay of Plenty 300m Championship and were held over the weekend of the 14th and 15th May 2022 at the Te Puke range with competitors in ISSF TR class and combined F classes.

Electronic targets were used for the first time in this competition with paper faces used to confirm scores. Initial calibration of the electronic targets proved worthwhile and there was high level of agreement between electronics and paper. A covered firing point and no delay in marking simulated ISSF competition conditions well. This and very favorable sighting and wind conditions both days allowed fast shooting and high scores. Thanks to the competitors for their attendance.
