Sad News - Steve Smith (updated 5/10/17)
The Taranaki Rifle Club is saddened to announce that Steve Smith, one our past members has died as a result of injuries in a vehicle accident last week.
Steve was one of the instigators of setting up an “F” class competition nationally, although in recent years he has been actively shooting in air rifle competitions.
We have no funeral details at this stage, but it’s expected to be next week.

Steve Smith’s funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday 7th October on the Aotearoa Marae, Hastings Rd Hawera.
Thereafter travelling via Eltham Smallbore Rifle Club to be interred at the family plot in Opunake.
